Meet our Staff

Our small team of 6 staff are all committed to seeing leprosy become a thing of the past. They are all here to help you in different ways to be a part of making that happen.

Linda Todd, Chief Executive Officer

Linda is the Country Leader and CEO of The Leprosy Mission Scotland. She joined TLMS as Executive Director in March 1998. Linda has extensive leadership and management experience gained from over three decades of working in the Voluntary Sector and continual professional development. She plays an active role within the Global Fellowship, currently chairing the Peer Review Working group and a member of the TLM Trust India Board. Linda also plays an active role within Scotland through various umbrella organisations, currently serving on the Board of the Scottish International Development Alliance.

She lives on the south side of Glasgow where she serves on the Leadership Team and as Small Group leader at her church. Other areas of service include Glasgow Street Pastors and Thornliebank Community Council. Other than her faith her 3 great passions are her pug, Carletto (who thinks he’s another member of the staff team), her bolt hole in the East Neuk of Fife and The Leprosy Mission, though not necessarily always in that order.

Stuart McAra, Head of Engagement

Stuart joined The Leprosy Mission Scotland in 2004 as our Area Co-ordinator for South and Central Scotland. Since then his role has expanded to take on responsibility for all of our communications materials including writing and editing this website, our social media presence, our supporter magazine, Dòchas, presentations used by staff and volunteers in churches across the country and now, most of our fundraising too. He says his favourite part of his job is those rare occasions when he gets to travel to visit our partner countries to see first hand the work we support to support and care for people affected by leprosy. Back in Scotland it’s when he goes out to visit church and community groups to share stories of our ministry with interested people across the country.

Stuart lives near Edinburgh, he is married and has a son. He is a member of a church in the city where he and his wife are home group leaders and he is on the church’s missions support and promotion team. He sings with the exile choir. Occasionally he makes a poor attempt to play the guitar and an ever poorer one to play golf.
