Your World Leprosy Sunday 2017

When is YOUR Church’s World Leprosy Sunday?

Have you arranged YOUR church’s World Leprosy Sunday yet?

A World Leprosy Sunday service is a wonderful opportunity for the whole church to remember the plight of people affected by leprosy around the world; to celebrate the impact that they, The Leprosy Mission and many others have had in tackling it and to consider how they can be a part of following Jesus instruction to “cleanse those with leprosy”.
Officially World Leprosy Day is the last Sunday in January but we want you to choose any Sunday that suits you up until the end of March.

We have produced some free resources to help your church make the day, just complete the form below to access them.

The focus of this year’s World Leprosy Sunday is Purulia Hospital in North East India which provides vital care to thousands of people every year. Many people travel for hours and sometimes for hundreds of miles for specialist leprosy care here.

It is a remarkable place full of dedicated, caring people who are determined to give the best support to everyone who comes through their door.

On YOUR World Leprosy Sunday, you can give the best available to care to thousands of people like Prem who need life-changing care from Purulia Hosital.
